Mansfield, TX Maternity Photographer | Lauren’s Maternity Session
My close friend Lauren is on her second pregnancy and wanted to do all the things she didn’t get to do the first time around since her first pregnancy was during the pandemic’s highest point. So she chose me as her maternity photographer and I felt honored and also responsible for bringing her vision to life!
She’s close to 33 weeks along and in Texas you can never plan too much when having an outdoor session. While a sunny day may be in the forecast, you can get a thunderstorm within a few hours, only to have the sun back out in minutes. So we planned. We would have a few outfit changes, pick fall/winter colors (her due date is in November) and be prepared to bring her session in studio if needed. Thankfully we didn’t need to!
While we planned, she told me she wanted to incorporate her husband and little one into the session. So I came prepared to get the best smiles out of Ricky for the best shots with mom & dad! He did great. We got family pictures done first and then proceeded to get this beautiful mama alone to showcase her glow. The session was beautiful and when I showcased her gallery, Lauren and Rick decided to get the full collection! She had her photos up in frames during her baby shower and I’ve never felt happier that not only an expecting mama but my friend, got to fulfill her vision and will have these memories forever.
